We manufacture shutters with Engineered Hardwood (HDF); solid natural hardwoods such as Knotty Alder, Basswood, Oak, Cherry, or Pine; or vinyl synthetics. HDF, is a high paint grade refined natural hardwood product that is guaranteed against warping which makes it the favorite choice for painted white or off-white shutters. Hardwoods like Knotty Alder have become popular adding rustic elegance and beauty to any home while other natural hardwoods like Basswood provide a more classic, clear grain tone for the more formal and traditional homes. Vinyls are nice for watered areas such as above a kitchen sink or jetted tub or inside a shower stall as they're waterproof.
